Perfect for warm and drier climates
I've put around 25,000 miles on my rk1000's so far and mostly have had good things to say. I don't off road with the truck much but it does regularly see dirt and does fine there. Nothing to write home about but it gets the job done. In the wet I've recently noticed quite a bit of slip compared to dry conditions where they normally are planted, and in the snow I was sliding around in my F350 loaded to the gills so definitely not for purpose there. They did decently well in south east rain storms and standing water but this coming fall in the northeast and colder water leaves quite a bit to be desired. My only conclusion is the compound in this tire is not well suited for below 50 degrees and its hardness shows up earlier in the wet. It's a fine tire for economy and I've had great tread wear out of them, even running heavy often. Just do not put this tire on any car that will se cold weather with them and never snow or ice, these are a death trap in that condition.
